Website Service Agreement
Version 1.1, effective October 5, 2026.
This agreement is between Aim Assist Technology ("Aim Assist", "we", "us"), Fernandina Beach, Florida, and the business named at signing ("you").
It is written in plain English on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask before you sign.
1. What you are buying
A custom website for your business, designed, written and built by us, and
the Managed Website Plan: we host the site, keep it running, and make the changes you ask for.
2. Price and when you pay
| What | Amount | When |
|---|---|---|
| Website build | $2,000 | Once, to start |
| Managed Website Plan | $200 per month | First charge 30 days after you pay for the build (section 5) |
| Add-ons you choose | As quoted | As quoted |
All payments are made through Stripe, by card or bank transfer. You may also split the build payment using Klarna where Stripe offers it to you; that arrangement is between you and Klarna. We do not accept payment any other way, and we never store your card details ourselves.
The build price is fixed. It does not go up because the job took us longer than we expected.
3. What the build includes
- A custom design for your business. It is not a template with your name pasted on.
- The pages your business needs, with the words written for you. You review and correct them.
- A layout that works on phones, tablets and computers.
- A contact form that sends inquiries to the email address you choose.
- The basics search engines need: page titles, descriptions, a site map and correct business details.
- An accessibility review before launch (section 9).
- Forwarding from your old website's page addresses to the new ones, so existing links and search results keep working.
If you want something beyond a normal business website (for example an online store, a booking system or a members' area), we will quote it separately before doing any of that work.
4. Review, changes and approval
- We show you the site on a private preview link.
- Tell us what you want changed. We keep working until it is right. There is no fixed limit on revision rounds while the build is in progress.
- When you tell us in writing (an email or text is fine) that you approve the site, the build is complete.
- If we deliver the site and do not hear from you for 30 days, after two reminders, we will treat the site as approved. You can still ask for changes afterwards under the Managed Website Plan.
Approval does not depend on your domain being connected. Connecting the domain is a separate step (section 6).
5. The Managed Website Plan ($200 per month)
When it starts. You set up the plan at the same checkout as the build, and the first 30 days are free. The first monthly charge is 30 days after you pay for the build, and it then repeats every month on your saved payment method. If your site is not ready by then because of a delay on our side, we move that first charge back.
What it includes:
- Hosting. Your site is kept online on fast, secure hosting. There is no separate hosting bill.
- Changes on request. Email us what you want changed: hours, prices, photos, wording, menus, staff, announcements. We prepare the change and send you a preview. When you reply to approve it, it goes live.
- Unlimited edits to your existing pages. There is no monthly cap on ordinary edits.
- Form checks. We test your contact form regularly so inquiries do not go missing unnoticed.
- Monitoring. We watch that the site is up and loading properly.
- History and undo. Every change is saved. Any change can be reversed.
- Accessibility re-checks when pages change meaningfully.
What is quoted separately: new sections of the site, a redesign, new features, and add-ons (section 8). We will always tell you the price before doing quoted work. Small additions, such as one new page, are usually included at our discretion.
How fast. We aim to send the preview for an ordinary change within one business day. This is a target, not a guarantee.
Who can ask for changes. For your protection we only act on requests from the people you name as authorized contacts. Tell us in writing to add or remove someone. If a request comes from anyone else, we will check with you first.
You approve what goes on your site. Before a change goes live you see it and approve it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you ask us to publish, such as prices, hours, licenses, claims about your products and anything about your staff.
No minimum term. The plan runs month to month. See section 11 for cancelling.
6. Your domain
- You own your domain name. It stays registered in your name, in your account, paid by you. We will never register your domain in our name or take ownership of it.
- To put the site live we need two settings changed on your domain. You can either make them yourself with our instructions, or give us "delegate access" in your domain account, which lets us make the change while the account remains yours. You can remove that access at any time.
- We will never ask for your domain account password.
- We change only the settings that point your domain at your website. We do not change your email settings. Before making any change we save a copy of your existing settings.
- If you do not have a domain yet, we will help you buy one in your own account.
7. Who owns what
- Your content is yours: your name, logo, photos, text and anything else you give us.
- Your site is yours once the build is paid in full. That includes the design and the site files. If you leave, we send you the complete files (section 11).
- Our tools stay ours. The underlying components, code libraries and systems we use to build and run sites are ours, and we use them for other clients. You get a permanent, free license to keep using whatever is part of your site.
- Photos and other material you supply. You confirm you have the right to use what you give us or ask us to use. If someone claims otherwise, that is your responsibility and we will remove the material when asked.
- Showing our work. We may show your site in our portfolio and say you are a client. Tell us if you would rather we did not.
8. Add-ons
Optional services are available at prices quoted when you order them. Examples: an AI chat assistant for your site, a blog written and published for you, an events or live-music calendar, and online booking. Each add-on has its own short description of what is included.
Calendars, booking and stores run in your own accounts. For example an events calendar reads from your own Google Calendar, and an online store runs on your own Shopify account. You own those accounts and their fees are yours.
9. Things we do not do or promise
- We never handle your money. We do not collect payments from your customers, hold funds for you or have access to your payouts. If your site sells something, the sale runs through a payment or store provider account that you own.
- No collection of sensitive information. We do not build forms that collect health, financial, Social Security or similar sensitive details.
- No marketing texts or bulk email to your customers.
- No email hosting. We do not provide or manage your business email accounts.
- No search ranking guarantees. We build the site so search engines can read it properly. No one can honestly promise a position on Google.
- Accessibility. We design to the widely used WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and review the site before launch. We do not guarantee that the site meets any legal standard, and this is not legal advice.
- Legal and regulatory content. You are responsible for any notices, licenses and disclosures your industry requires. We will add them when you tell us what they are.
10. If a payment fails
- Stripe will retry the payment automatically, and we will let you know.
- While a payment is overdue, we pause new changes to your site. The site stays online.
- After 14 days unpaid, we send a written notice with the date the site will come offline.
- After 30 days unpaid, we take the site off our hosting and send you the site files, provided the build has been paid in full.
Paying the overdue amount at any point before step 4 puts everything back to normal.
11. Cancelling
- You can cancel the Managed Website Plan at any time. Email us. There is no cancellation fee.
- Your site stays up through the end of the month you have paid for. Monthly payments already made are not refunded for partial months.
- Within 7 days of the end of service we send you the complete site files. Your domain is already yours, so there is nothing to transfer.
- After that, we take the site off our hosting. Hosting the files somewhere else is up to you, and services that rely on our systems (change requests, form handling, monitoring, add-ons) stop.
- Build payments. If you cancel before approving the site, we refund $1,000 of the build price and you do not receive the site. The other $1,000 pays for design and build work already done and is not refundable. Once you approve the site, the build price is not refundable.
- We can end the agreement with 30 days' written notice, or sooner if payment is more than 30 days overdue or the site is being used for something unlawful. If we end it for our own reasons we will hand over your files and help you move.
12. If something goes wrong
- We will fix our own mistakes on your site promptly and at no charge.
- We rely on other companies for hosting and related services. We are not responsible for outages or failures on their side, though we will work to get you back online quickly.
- Limit. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose. Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits or indirect losses.
- You agree to cover claims that arise from content you supplied or approved, or from how you run your business. We agree to cover claims that arise from material we supplied that we had no right to use.
13. The rest
- Changes to this agreement. If we change these terms or the monthly price, we will give you at least 30 days' written notice. You can cancel before the change takes effect.
- Independent businesses. We are your contractor, not your employee, partner or agent.
- Whole agreement. This document and any written quotes for add-ons are the full agreement.
- Governing law. Florida law applies. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Nassau County, Florida.
14. How you accept this agreement
You accept this agreement when you pay the build price, or when you sign below, whichever happens first. We send you this document together with the payment link, and it is always available at https://aim-assist-terms.pages.dev/.
